The Oktoberfest was a great success. Wonderful day and a beautiful spot to set up. We were beside the stream that runs through Mayestown. My sister also put a few things in and she did well too. We had a lot of fun, good food and got some antique bargains. We did have to dodge the walnuts all day. We were directly under a walnut tree. Thank goodness for the canopy.
Deb and I are going to try a booth in an antique mall. We have some antiques to mix in with our art. Kind of a big step for us but we are excited about it.
The leaves are really getting pretty and the acorns are falling. We have an abundance of acorns this year and it sounds like hail falling at times. This is my favorite time of year, most of the summer people are gone from the lake and the geese have started moving. Hardly any boats on the water except a few fishermen. Summer is fun but it is nice to have things calm again.
I will leave you with a few pictures of some things I finished for the show and of my table at Oktoberfest. Have a great day.
Hugs, Jackie
