Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Mine was pretty low key. The lake was full of people so we usually stay close to home until after the weekend. Fun was had by all. It gave me time to finish a collage. I call it Tough as Nails. These two look a little rough and tumble.
I used an old photograph holder for the picture and stitched old rusty nails on one side and put a leather twist on the other side. Used just a bit of lace to give it a feminine touch. I'm working on a canvas book, should have some photos to share in a couple of days.
We have Cicadas here in Missouri right now. They only come out every 13 years. Sometimes the noise they make is quite annoying, so loud. Only 2 or 3 more weeks and they will be gone thank goodness. Have a great week.
Hugs, Jackie

As usual I like very much the colors of this new collage, as the materials; and he delays me discovering your book!
