She didn't want a skeleton on it because that was too..creepy. Grandma kinda likes creepy but her hat turned our really well without it. Then we had a small accident, spilled a bottle of green paint all over, as you can see on her skirt. It was pretty easy to clean up off the floor especially since her mom was here and she cleaned it up.
Then she had movie night with Grandpa in his theater room and popcorn from the movie room popcorn popper. It was a great day.
Now I have to tell you about the Big mistake. As you all know Sis and I have been getting ready for the Oktoberfest. We got our stuff all ready and packed in her transit van today to set up for tomorrow. Got to Maeystown and no one was there. Streets empty no hustle or bustle. Oops, wrong weekend. I did not read my paperwork, thought it was always the 1st Sunday in October...nope always the 2nd weekend. We laughed all the way home. It was a little embarrassing when we stopped at the General Store in Maeystown and the lady who organizes it saw us and ask if we were a week early. Thank goodness we know her well so she knows we haven't lost our minds...yet. Oh well we are ready for next weekend.
The weather here has turned really cold. Hope we still have some nice fall weather before winter. The furnace came on last night and suppose to be even colder tonight. Hope you all have a great Sunday.
Hugs Jackie

Your granddaughter is adorable and I love the hat she made. Thank you for your kind comment about my story for the 'Carnivale Mysterieux' blog party. I love Stephen King's writing, too, and you made my YEAR by saying my writing was a bit like his!
Blessings,
Victoria from Brushstrokes
Grandchildren are the best in the world, seems you and your grand daughter had a wonderful day together.
